STAY HYDRATED
What about Covid and the Gym
While far from the January-February peak, new cases of covid-19 have been increasing. Nationwide each day for the past several weeks, covid cases have varied between 100,000 and 180,000 per day. In Tulsa the current average is about 92 cases per day and is on an upward trend. So covid-19 is not going away. As I’ve heard said more than once, “We may be through with covid-19, but covid-19 is not through with us.”
Gyms and health clubs have seen a resurgence in visits, now that most covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. But is it safe to go back to the gym?

According to the United States Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine, an adequate daily intake of fluids is about 16 cups (3.75 liters) for men and 12 cups (2.75 liters) for women. An easy way to implement this recommendation is to drink 8 or more 8 ounce glasses of water per day.
